COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Welcome to the Loopa community. If you're honest, kind, and respectful to others, you'll always be welcome here. If you choose not to be, you may not last.
Our goal is to let members express themselves freely — discovering travel companions, sharing genuine place recommendations, and pinning their favourite spots — as long as it doesn't offend or harm others. Everyone is held to the same standard on Loopa.
We're asking you to be considerate, think before you act, and abide by these Community Guidelines both on and offline.
Loopa's Rules
Share cautiously and thoughtfully. Don't publicly broadcast personal information — no phone numbers, emails, or social handles in your public profile or posts. Sharing your exact travel plans or arrival times publicly is always a bad idea. Don't ask others for their personal details either.
Consider boundaries. Comfort levels vary from person to person. Do not send inappropriate or vulgar messages. Loopa is a platform for connecting travellers and discovering places — not a dating app.
Just be you. People want to meet the real you. Don't create a fake account or pretend to be someone you're not, even if it's just for fun.
Communicate respectfully. Respect goes a long way. Harassment, threats, bullying, intimidation, doxing, blackmail, sexually provocative language, or anything intentionally done to cause harm is not allowed. Loopa is not a place for hate. We will never stand behind racism, bigotry, hatred, or violence based on who someone is, how they identify, or what they look like — including but not limited to race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, disability, gender, gender identity, age, national origin, or sexual orientation.
Lead with kindness, not harm. Any behaviour that suggests, intends, or causes harm to another member — on or offline, physically or digitally — will be taken very seriously. This includes anything that calls for or incites harm.
Pin honestly. Place recommendations and location pins are the heart of Loopa. Only pin places you have genuinely visited. Do not fabricate reviews, inflate ratings, or post misleading information about accommodations, restaurants, or any other locations. Dishonest pins damage the trust of the whole community.
No commercial pins without permission. Do not use the pin or recommendation feature to promote your own business, advertise services, or post sponsored content without Loopa's prior written authorization. Unsolicited commercial pins will be removed.
Respect the places you share. When recommending a location, be mindful of the local community, environment, and culture. Do not share pins that could lead to overcrowding, damage to natural sites, or disrespect for local customs.
16+ only. You must be at least 16 years of age to use Loopa.
Abide by the law. No illegal content or activities are allowed, ever.
One account per person. Each account can only have one owner. For logistical and privacy reasons, we can't support multiple people accessing the same account — each individual needs their own.
Post your own content. Don't post images, private messages, or pins from other people unless you have their explicit consent to do so.
Be an honest member of the Loopa community. Don't abuse the platform. Don't spread false or misleading information. Don't spam harmful links or unsolicited content. Don't create mass accounts.
Stay active. If you don't log into your Loopa account for two years, we may delete it for inactivity. Log in from time to time to stay visible in the community.
Reporting
As a member of the Loopa community, we encourage you to speak up. If someone is causing you harm, making you feel uncomfortable, or violating our Community Guidelines — report it. Your report is always confidential. By reporting, you help us protect everyone in the community.
To report a user or content, use the in-app reporting tools or contact us directly at contact@welkhome.io.
Enforcement
We take our Community Guidelines seriously. We have a warning system in place, but if violations continue or if a violation is severe, we will act accordingly. We reserve the right to investigate and/or terminate accounts — without a refund of any subscription fees paid — if we find that you have misused the Services or behaved in a way that Loopa deems inappropriate, unlawful, or in violation of these Guidelines or our Terms of Service. This includes actions or communications that occur off the platform but involve people you met through Loopa.
